Just a few other factors that you may like to consider.
The advantages to RAID in this scenario would be additional data security and speed.
As you have the O/S installed on the SSD then you shouldn’t have any difficulties creating a RAID 1 array using the two hard drives.
A RAID 1 array will mirror the data across the two drives and in the event of a drive failure you can install another drive and the array can be reconstructed.
Also because the data is mirrored between the drives read performance will be improved since Windows 7 supports ‘split seeks’, which is where separate parts of a file are loaded simultaneously off each drive.
The disadvantage of RAID 1 is that effectively you can only use half the total capacity or in your case 1TB.
So it’s a trade off between capacity and data security/speed.
If you’re not worried about those factors though then as eric93se says RAID can be ignored.
