I am using Ripit-4-Me to make a backup copy of my Dhttp://www.cdfreaks.com/software/Copy-DVD-Movie-Software/DVDshrink/DVDShrink.htmlVD’s & it always worked fine with Windows XP, now I have Vista. It still works but is spotty. Today it went through DVD Decryptor & FixVTS but when it got to DVD Skrink I go the error message "DVD Shrink has encountered an error & cannot continue the specified folder is invalid, Access is Denied.
Does Windows Vista block DVD Shrink? How do I get around this? I had copied a DVD before this one & it worked all the way through to the burning process built into DVD Decryptor.
Any ideas? This is aggravating.:(
Hi Medmann, I am running Vista 64bit and DVD Shrink works fine, I dont use ripit4me becuase it has not been updated since last April Fools day and does not work with newer movies, what I think you are experiencing is a ripit4me problem, the files were not decrypted and Shrink cannot read them, just my opinion. Try and run the files through the free dvdFab decrypter and then Shrink the file.
