Need help with burner

Hi everyone,

Been reading this forum for a while and am usually able to fix problems without posting. This problem, however has me quite baffled. Problem is that my BenQ DW1620 has been acting up lately. When burning iso images with Imgburn, the disc fails to finish the burn. It does not matter the media I use. The drive is old and has been used a lot. Below is the log file from Imgburn. Any ideas? Virus? Or is it time to get a new burner?

I think I might have it figured out. I took out my power supply unit, had it tested and it is bad. Hopefully this takes care of my problem.

Well turns out that not only was the power supply bad, but the benQ burner too. Picked me up a Lite On LH-20A1P. The new burner works well and everything, although I am not sure if it performed as good as the BenQ 1620. Gonna pick up a used 1620 from a friend as a backup to the lite on.

You could also have tried getting some decent Verbatim (MCC dye) or Taiyo Yuden media.
