First off, I'm a newbie... Not with computers, just on this site Secondly, I'm using DVDFab to rip my movies to vob, then I use xvid4psp to encode the vob's into mp4 format for play on my ps3. It took over 3 months and a lot of programs to come up with this combination that will work for any and all movies, but I am now the proud owner of 100+ perfectly encoded mp4's. Until now... I've been trying for over a week now to get the new Halloween movie (Rob Zombie) to come out right but can't. I ripped the movie (in whole) and encoded it (as I did all my other movies), but the audio comes out of sync for some reason. I somewhat fixed that problem by ripping each chapter from the dvd and encoding them individually. I can play each chapter on my ps3 no problem and the audio is perfect. but when i try to join the chapters together, the ps3 says the file is corrupted. I've used a file joiner program and also did it manually through the command prompt to no avail. I have noticed there's a chapter 25 with nothing on it, just a short blank clip after the credits, that might be causing the audio to come out of sync for some reason when doing the movie in whole. After posting this I'm going to try encoding the movie in whole without it and see if that works. If anyone knows how to make it work (encoding the movie in full with audio in sync or combining the chapters together without them coming out corrupted), please help. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
