Hello everyone this is my first post but long time reader of cdfreaks!
recently I just hit rock bottom, I gave my girlfriend 100dvds to label and put in dvd cases... unfortunately it is too late and we didnt realize that Paper labeling ruins the DVD's so there goes 100 dvd's down the drain.
While this was happening I was burning another 100 or so dvd from my buddies collection and I don't know if it was my burner or if it was the speeds at which I was burning but they all skip after a 45sec delay or so... so there goes another 100 dvds down the drain.
I've looked up the latest in dvd printables and am convinced that I'm going to do it all again but the right way! :iagree: I'm not rich by any means so lets try to keep the costs to a minimum with maximum efficiency.
I am looking to get the whole shabbang and wistles
- New DVD burner
- DVD inkjet Pinter
- best writable DVD's (printables)
Along with all that I would like to know the most efficient writing speeds, I was stupid and was doing it at 16x I think which prololy ruined the burns.
so my questions are:
What is the best cd writing inkjet for the price (there are a few new ones out there that ive seen but dont know if anyone has tried)
What would be a good DVD burner (and at what is the best speeds to burn)?
Best dvd printable blank dvd's?
You guys have already been so helpful but would love your input before I go drop $500 on all this stuff!
