Need 40125W to downgrade firmware

Hi, I want to try to unclock my drive to see if it will fix the problems I have with the drive. Could someone post a link to firmwarebank or just to any 40125W firmware?

Downgraded. Now I can’t force the CDRW drive to work in UDMA33, it is stuck in PIO4. I tried “DMA if avaliable” and in BIOS I have it in AUTO (tried forcing there, no effect). The main thing that no settings were affected, it was x48 UDMA and now x40 PIO4. ???

Piece of sh*t. I reflashed it. Now it gives me write errors right in the middle of the disk or so. I got like 25 coasters now. I think it is cheaper to buy a new one.

if the drive won’t switch to dma even after u choose dma if available, uninstall the entire ide channel and reboot.

I reflashed it, it uses the DMA now, yet it stops in the middle of the write:

You might try two things: first, completely uninstall Nero. Then go to your device manager and remove the drive. Empty the trash bin and reboot. Reinstall Nero. Sometimes configuration files written before the hardware change can wreak havoc.

Good luck.
