I am having a bit of a problem with my ND-1300A. It was working fine, if not a bit slow in this day and age. I decided to upgrade to an ND-3540A, which now seems a bit of a mistake.
After writing multiple coasters with different media and speeds, I tried the files on my ND1300 again, and it all worked fine.
I have sent the 3540 back to the supplier for testing and replacing, but now my ND1300 will not recognise and DVD media at all.
When insterted the drive spins slowly, then makes a click..click sound, then jsut stops.
In control panel the drive is there, all the "Drivers" say fne and working correctly. I have updated the firmware, to no avail. I have replaced the firmware, again to no avail.
However, the drive still reads CD-R/RW/ROM and playstation 1 discs.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a likely solution?
