Good day people,

I’ve had this problem with my old plextor, too. I can’t burn using nero vision or clonedvd, and normal burning. I’ve tried to update the firmware and I all got from it was that I had more chances of burning with Nero Express. At first I thought it was an ASPI problem because under Nero InfoTool, ASPI was red. So I fixed it…
Nope, didnt help. Should I update the chipset drivers? Because that’s the only problem I see left

Uninstall Alcohol, then try again.

#3

Thanks, seems to be working. Does this mean I should’nt use Alcohol?

#4

If it works, then yes.

#5

You still there chef? Im still having problems with my dvd-r. What’s frustating is that it doesnt give any errors, it stops at 91&. And I also noticed that it doesnt like me running winamp when im burning.
What can I do?

#6

Update both softwares, they always have bugs.

Maybe try burning with ImgBurn (you could create images with Nero too).

#7

Its not about images(well not yet), it’s about burning normal files. It always crash.
Update both softwares? nero and winamp?

#8

Yes.

You should just try burning with ImgBurn, that was my suggestion.

#9

Thanks for Imburn, seems to be working.

I think I already have the latest nero and winamp, should I just reinstall them?

#10

If you do, make sure you are using the Nero Cleantools too before re-installing.
