Nec AD-5540A is not recognized any more

hello, I used the utilities of NEC to pass my AD-5540A of Master to slave, and since he is not recognized any more. Neither in my Bios, nor under Windows Vista :a What to make? My NEC was in a computer Dell XPS 210, in SATA.
Please help me!

thanks…

Use an IDE adapter and attach the drive to a desktop PC where you can switch back to Mater again. It may also work if you find someone with a Toshiba laptop where you could attach your drive and change it back.

thank you for the answer, it any more but does not remain me to find an adapter…

I stupidly did this as well - any ideas if this - http://cgi.ebay.com/New-For-Laptop-50-PIN-JAE-CD-DVD-Rom-to-IDE-adapter_W0QQitemZ300131870239QQihZ020QQcategoryZ31531QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting would work to plug it into my desktop? I feel stupid right now…

Hm, doesn’t give me the option to edit…but anyways, it doesn’t look like a regular adapter; it may use Dell’s propietary ones…meh…

Anyone have any ideas?
