[qanda]This thread is about the NEC ND-3550A. Click here to see full specs[/qanda]Since a few days almost every dvd I burn has a lot of readerrors(after I use verify data with nero).
And the dvd is unplayable on my dvd player.
I tried different media(Platinum and Sony DVD+r, I used about 70 of the Platinum ones successfully) and different speeds 2.4-16x but still they all faill.
I've wasted about 10dvds now.
It first started to get errors in XP and I moved to Vista the next day and I burned a few dvd's fine but now they all faill.
So is it broken or what, I didn't think dvd writers break this easily, I only burned about 100-150 dvd's with it and it is about 2 years old.
Would it help if I'd open it up and clean the lens?
And does this happen more often?
