I got my NEC 3520A at january 2005 and flashed it with the FW 1.25 from the dangerous brothers. Everything went fine with this firmware. I got the following scan results with Samsung Pleomax (Optodisc OR8 Media):

A few days ago I flashed my NEC 3520A with the Liggy & Dee ND-3520 Modified Firmware V1.UF, but the burn results weren’t as good as with my old 1.25 one from tdb. So I decided to flash the NEC back to 1.25. I did so but after flashing it, the burn results didn’t get better. I don’t understand that. I’ve got the same 1.25 FW as before but now the results are bad atlhought using the same media as before. Does the burner have to “learn” again how to burn the media? Or what’s the problem with it? As anyone an idea?

Thanks
