Hello !!

I have a new dvd-burner NEC-3520 ver. 1.04 and I want to ask the experts:

I post the tests of my dvd media (burn speed 2x for all and same data for all, program nero 6.6.0.3).
All the test were made at toshiba dvd-rom and at nec-3520.

How can you explain these differences between the same media ??
I don’t have the standalone dvd player at home to test readablity of these medias, but I want to know your opinion which drive (toshiba or nec), give me realistic results because I will buy home dvd player soon, but I don’t want to have useless media.

TNX and sorry for bad english !!

The NEC may be a better burner and reader?

There are some write issues with this drive, but at the moment its a terrible reader. When doing a transfer rate test. it might be worth setting read speed to 12X max.
You can set this in file menu/options
