vbimport

This BSOD happened the other day but hasn’t happened since…I burned a dvd then i used my NEC 3520 to scan for errors…when i put the disc in…it read for a few seconds and then the BSOD…is my drive going out or is it something else?

Here’s the jist of what it said

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

PCMIA or something like that…also

ezplay.sys

Very much doubt it’s your drive

That error’s usually (but not always) to do with a dodgy driver. And the “ezplay.sys” is related to VSO software, don’t know if you have any installed?

i have vso software on here…i thought it strange that it did that…i use blindwrite here and there but not frequently…i actually have seen in blindwrite b4 it burns in the log window…“tagged for ezplay”…as a matter of fact…i think i burned an image w/ it just b4 i scanned it for errors and got the BSOD…hmmm…it hasn’t happened again…maybe i’ll try an uninstall and see what comes of it…thanx arachne…that makes sense

Good luck, glad between us we’ve managed to nail the culprit
