NEC 3500 Burning error

I wanted to burn a image file to a DVD, but all of the sudden i got this error:

The media is EMTEC DVD+R.
Anyone know how this come?
Maybe lowering the DVD write speed?

Yes, my first guess would be that this media can not handle the higher writing speed.
Please post the MID for these discs, your firmware version, and the exact version of Nero that you are using.

I’m using Quikee_Beta3 firmwire
I have Nero Express 6

Don’t know what MID is, still a early beginner on this DVD buring and stuff.

Well it worked with 4x so it will be the media.

Use DVD Identifier to get the media code(MID) for your disc…

Unique Disc Identifier : [DVD+R:RICOHJPN-R01-002]

Disc & Book Type : [DVD+R] - [Not Available]
Manufacturer Name : [Ricoh Co. Ltd.]
Manufacturer ID : [RICOHJPN]
Media Type ID : [R01]

[ DVD Identifier - ]

Also at system info with nero, it says no ASPI installed. Nescessery to install it?

My NEC can burn that media at 12x, but with not the most desirable results. Try 8x, you should get great results there. Also try another disc burning utility. If its an image, maybe you can get away using DVD Decrypter.

Yup, it’s a image(iso) file. Ripped it with DVD shrink.
Well it says 4x on the box tho!
I have DVD decrypter but it says this:

I 22:01:20 DVD Decrypter Version started!
I 22:01:20 Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional (5.0, Build 2195 : Service Pack 4)
22:01:20 Drive F:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB
I 22:01:20 Initialising SPTI…
I 22:01:20 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices…
I 22:01:20 Found 1 DVD±RW!

Dunno if it can cause a problem?
