Nec 3500 AG won't burn Verbatim DVD+RW 8x

Hi,

Bought 10 Verbatim’s DVD+RW 8 x, but i can’t use them in my NEC burner 3500 AG. Firmware was 2.16, updated tot 2.19, still no luck. Maybe there is a work-around for this.

The NEC 3500 don’t support 8x dvd+rw media, bacause of hardware limitation. IIRC

You must use max 4x dvd+rw.

Is there a NEC burner that can burn these DVD+RW’s at 8 x

3540 or later can burn 8x RW discs. If you’re looking to buy prolly best to wait for the 7200 series drives, depending where you are they’re available already.
