Hi I’ve a Nec ND1100A. On the original box ther were written 4x 2.4x 16x.
Anyway Nero only writes DVD+R@2.4x
At this page there is the list of NEC DVD writers.
Why are there TWO NEC ND 1100A?

I also have an 1100a.
The writing on the box means – 4x DVD+R – 2.4x DVD+RW – 16x CD-R.
There are 2 NEC 1100a’s on the website because there were two different types made.
– One can write DVD+R/RW
– The other writes DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW.
The DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW drive is now be manufactured as the ND-1300 to stop confusion.
Are you using 4x DVD+R media? As 2.4x media will only write as 2.4x
Hi I tried both fuji and imation.
2.4x not 4x
On the dvd label there’s nothing that indicates the speed burning anyway…
…my fault…
Both fuji and imation dvd+r can be write only at 2.4x…
thank you anyway!
