ND-1300A doesn't recognize blank CDR/CDRW discs

I just bought a ND-1300A (Cendyne OEM). But it doesn’t recognize blank cdr/cdrw discs - Nero says no disc in the drive. It recognized burnt cdrw as read-only disc, so I cannot format it. I’ve tried several firmware versions - from 1.06 to 1.0a. It happened on two machines - winxp pro, and win2k.

Burning dvd+rw was ok.

What version of Nero are you running?
Updating Nero to the latest version is a must!

If that doesn’t help, try some of the troubleshooting steps in my guide (link in my sig), then list the steps that you have tried if unsuccessful.
