I got 2pcs Nanya disc DVD+R 8x under ‘Ever Media’ for trial last weekends and it’s a pc of junk. :frowning: I use my LiteOn 1633S(BS0H) with nero to create a test disc and it’s not readable by nero but Kprobe did. Pls read my thread here; http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=111824

Jack, it’s a suprise to me that you could read it.

NEC 2500A 107V2B5DLBS burned at 4x
Sold as BLUPOP 4x DVD+R

Burned with a Pioneer @ 4x Full 4.36gig movie.

Both burned at 4x on Pioneer 107.

This is the first scan I’ve ever done so please tell me if I have done something wrong or could do something better.

Burner; BenQ DW-1640
Firmware; BSMB
Media; Platinum 16x burnt @ 16x

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t this a very good result?

Try scanning at 8x with your BenQ 1640 instead of using your DVD-Rom Drive to run the quality scan.

DVD-Rom drives do not give accurate results. Also it seems that your drive is Quick scanning even though Quick-Scan isnt selected.

Also, when saving an image from CD-Speed its much easier just to click the floppy disc icon in the top right of the CD-Speed Window (to the left of the minimize button) Make sure you save the image as a PNG as it has no quality loss and is also smaller in size than Jpeg.

OK thank you very much

Will post a new one tomorrow.

Burner; BenQ DW-1640
Firmware; BSMB
Media; Platinum 16x burnt @ 16x

Hmm This is a different burn. But also the worst scan I’ve ever seen with these disks.

Strange how the quality score was 97 up till 2.5 GB or so.

I hope this is just a bad disk. It seems to be.

Other burn.

Same burner and medium. Also 16x.

This time quite good only one BIG spike!

some more :iagree: Nice one I guess

NANYARJB is a 4X media, and it made a little confuse to my brother.
Seller didn’t know what they are sold. PI/PO is acceptable,
but transferRate is a bit hush.
