My New (used) BenQ 1620

First thing i did was a scan at 8x using B7V9 firmware. the read speed was crazy. did a little reading here on the forum and found that i needed to patch with MCSE.

so i got TDB B7W9RPC1 and patched with MCSE Increase Read Speed.

burned on Pioneer 115D 1.18 MCSE Patch @ 6x

the first pic is of the B7V9 without increase read speed.

DW1620 can be a rather temperamental drive when it comes to read speed “dips”, depending on firmware used, media (often on dash), and drive itself.
(I for once never experienced these “dips”, not on any of all firwares used.)

Have you tryed a “increase read speed” B7V9 firmware, to compare with stock one?
