My hp lightscribe dvd+Rw

my burner was ok when i first put it in and it was working fine…it burn normal for a couple of weeks now it burning cds very slow  how come it’s slowing down is it because i have used it to much? has it blow out? :frowning:

to little info here , usually internet cache or the stuff you load on ur os will slow down computer. I suggest you clean explorer cache first run a windows cleaning utility to get rid of garbage files on computer, then remove startup files on computer boot if the above 2 dont kick ya back up to norm. thx gonna do this right now…but so that means this has nothing to do with the burner?

its a good chance its not if it only slowed down but your computer configuration would be more helpful to all next time to help sort the problem out properly. STEVE

First enable DMA mode for the drive.

and if that should be your problem, read here on how to solve it: http://club.cdfreaks.com/f61/fix-dma-turned-into-pio-problem-222229/
