So MTKFlash 1.55 have existed since 1998, but not found it’s way onto the web until now?
Quite impressive (imagine if ID Software would be so good at keeping their projects for themselves ;)).

I want to meet Joseph Lin. If only he would visit this forum

damn ,this “new” version is at least 4 years-old …

dhc014:You could write a mail to MediaTek asking for him

And they still haven’t fixed the “defalut: hex” part. Pretty easy to change with a hex editor but for the sake of integrity I didn’t. I did email Mediatek about it, they didn’t have any real technical contacts so I emailed service, doubtful they will respond though…and I would hope the response would be in English.

Any ideas where I could download this MTKFlash 1.55 ?

PS. I really doubt the soft is from 1998, maybe he just didn’t modify the date, forgot about it or something.

Here you go!

Thanks man, that really helps, I want to underclock my LTR-52246S to LTR-48246S
Really, I want to test it against a Plextor 48/24/48A CDRW.

note to self: Alexandrus - weird person

Yep, that’s true.
