MSI has issued a press release today announcing their current mainboards based on the H97, Z97 and X99 chips will receive an BIOS that adds NVM Express (NVMe) support.

I wonder if the other motherboard manufacturers will do the same.
We were supposed to have to wait for the Intel 100 series chipsets for native NVMe support.
Asus has followed, at least for some Z97 boards.
