This is like cyber terrorism…

It does set a bad precedent and it is scary that these groups find it so easy to perpetrate these attacks against these sites. I am, like many other members of this web site, sympathetic with their viewpoint, but not with their tactics. A better way should be founds to protest these types of issues.

I have to admit that I really, REALLY hate the RIAA. If someone stole a physical object valued at $1, they wouldn’t be asked to pay back $800+. Why should the RIAA have the right to do this? The actual artists never see any of their winnings.

Ditto! Another example of the corporate fleecing of consumers held up by corporate-sponsored legislation.
