I’ve long wondered about the hiccoughs I sometimes hear in my MP3 files. Some of them are unpleasantly distracting.
Can anyone tell me what causes them and if there is a way to eliminate them from an MP3 file?
It could possibly be just a driver problem, try downloading the latest driver version for your sound card… If they are low quality mp3’s then that could be the issue, back in the day their were a lot of problems.
Depending on the type of hard drive, it is possible that the drive could have reverted to the “PIO” mode.
I’ve seen this issue on several systems running “PIO” mode.
