I wonder why the FF devs are using Webkit, since Gecko is argueably just as good. I also wonder how Mozilla is going to deal with Apple’s licensing, which does not permit FOSS programs to be published through the app store, and forces DRM (the arch enemy of FOSS fans) on all apps (even those that cost $0).

PS: I think the title of “first Internet Explorer 6 alternative” would go to Netscape, not Firefox.
