Meh, the EU is just gonna launch a new lawsuit against M$ for forcing Edge down a user’s throat. Just like they did with WMP, IE… Probably won’t take that long either ones the news comes moer widely known

Can’t make any browser other than Safari the default browser on iOS, at least not without a jail break. Did Mozilla write to Tim Cook about this?

I upgraded my laptop to Win10.  It left Pale Moon as the default browser.  I don’t think this article is 100% accurate.

People should have options to pick the browser of their choice.

Thats what the EU forced microsoft to do with win 7 after the lawsuit. while they no longer need to now, they were required to do so for over 5 years.

a little more info on that here http://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-no-longer-needs-to-remind-eu-users-they-have-a-browser-choice/

They do, even if Microsoft doesn’t advertise the fact. It’s easy enough to change the default browser from Edge to Firefox, Chrome or other browser of your choice from the settings shortcut on the start menu.
