Has any experienced problems with backing up this movie…Please let me know…

Hi Borni and welcome.

If you’re using the latest version (2.9.7.9) and in main movie mode, you shouldn’t experience any problems. You didn’t say what application you tried or any specifics. Many folks have had issues, both with Fab and Slysoft apps. A search will yield the problems. For starters, see post "19 and on:

Yes.
I have successfully backed up both:
(i) Underworld, and,
(ii) Underworld Evolution

I have done:
(a) Movie Only —>>> successfully
(b) Whole disk compressed onto Single Layer DVD-5 —>>> successfully
© Whole disk onto Dual Layer DVD-9 —>>> successfully

I used AnyDVD and CloneDVD from SlySoft

Hope this helps.

I get a msg get dvd information failed. 4096
Anyone figure this out yet?

#6

Well it seems I found the solution already. I just updated anydvd to the 6.0.1.1 version and it said it found and removed wrong dvd structure and Dvd fab worked fine.

how do i put a problem in here

Fengtao, are you out there? I believe more than a few Fab users are using anydvd on the side. As great as Fab is  , I think a couple of holes lately on the protection removal schemes, this being one…without the help from anydvd, is resulting in rip/burn issues. Mentioned to point out, not to criticize or bash Fab! And yeah, for most part these challenges are coming from our benfactor, the great Sony. :a

Hi,

If you do have problem with the movie, please send us all the .IFO files on Original disc, then we will check the problem.

A recommended way is listed below:

  1. Open an Explorer window, and navigate to VIDEO_TS folder of the DVD.
  2. Copy all files ending with .IFO to hard disk.
  3. ZIP the IFO files on hard disk to one file. Name it with a readable
    filename, like Stealth_UK.zip.
  4. Send the zip file to fengtao(at)dvdidle.com, please replace (at) with @.

Also, please tell us the detail error message, thanks.

Best Regards,
Fengtao

The problem with Underworld may be in the extras. I did the movie only and had no problems.
