Android was the software product with the most reported security issues last year, according to numbers compiled by CVE Details. For Google’s mobile operating system 523 vulnerabilities were reported.

I’m a bit surprised that Debian has that many more known vulnerabilities than Ubuntu. Ubuntu is Debian-based, with some custom code added in, so I would expect Ubuntu to inherit Debian’s security vulnerabilities while adding a few new vulnerabilities along the way.
