Moser Baer India BD-R

A bit weird

4x and this increase at 12,5GB-mark? Don´t understand it.

It’s Moser Baer :grinning:

My BDR-209D maybe don´t know it  , Lite and especially BH16NS55 know it

But my MBIR06 are all still readable after some years, better than BR2 and BR3, even with TDKBLD and CMC MAG BA5 I have single media with high error-rates after some years.

But MBI actual DVD-media is much more worse than BD-R

MID: (MBIR06)
Burn Speed: 4x

One of my best burns with that media

Writer: LG WH16NS58
Firmware: 1.V1
Media: Mediarange BD-R 25GB 4x
MID: (MBIR06)
Burn Speed: 4x
Software: Nero 12 Ess.
Burned 2017
Scanned 2017

Reminds me of

Maybe there is a massive problem in the newer LG-FWs? Or a massive problem with the combination of 16NS5x-burned MBI and Liteon-scan?

My 16NS40 is much better with that media.

The high BIS-spike is probably caused by a spot in the dye.

Burnt with Pioneer BDR-209EBK @ 4x

XLayer 25GB 6x / MBIR06

Burnt with LiteOn iHBS112 @ 4x

Again the Lite is better than the 209. I´m thinking more and more the BDR-209 is not so good as the BDR-208

Maybe it’s not optimized for that media yet. The 6x strategy fits better.

Scanned @4x

There shouldn’t be any playback problems in a Blu-ray Player. But the MediaRange 6x BDR with CMCMAGBA5 is much better for the price.

Yep, bought some time ago at Alternate for less than 11€ 25pcs cakebok.

MediaRange 25GB 4x / MBIR06

Burnt with Pioneer BDR-209EBK @ 6x

scanned with iHBS112-115 (like all the other scans)

scanned with iHBS112-37

My HP bd335e also show better results than my bd335e; both are crossflashed to 112 2 PL06

MediaRange 25GB 4x / MBIR06

Burnt with Pioneer BDR-209EBK @ 10x

iHBS112-115 8x

iHBS112-37 8x

iHBS112-115 4x

IHBS112-37 4x

4x is good for comparision, the difference is low.
But sometimes only 8x reveals a bad burn.
