MKV -> DVD-Video conversion [Mac OSX]

Hi,

I’m trying to convert an MKV (Matrioska) encapsulation to a DVD-Video under Mac OS X.

I’ve managed to convert it partially using iSkysoft DVD Video Converter, but there are major issues.

In fact, if a MKV format has multiple audio languages and subtitles inside itself, iSkysoft’s app will only use the main one.

So, if I have a movie in English and Italian and the main audio is set to English, DVD Video Converter will never get Italian out of the box.

In addition, it does not compress movies when converting to .ISO files. I want to have them in .ISO (and not directly to disk) for backup motivations, and if I use this method, I will have to compress the .ISO again to DVD-5 using Toast Titanium.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I don’t have a Mac so I can’t advise on appropriate software.

Not that many people here have Macs and this is a fairly specialist task for Apple systems so unfortunately you might have difficulty getting an answer to this.

Let’s hope someone comes along though as this is outside my experience.

Pavtube have a all-in-one conversion tool: Video Converter Ultimate, while the Mac version is iMedia Converter for Mac.It could not noly rip DVD and Blu-ray discs, but also all kinds of videos. But I am not sure if it could meet your demands that when converting videos it should output multiple audio tracks. You can download the trial version to have a try.
BTW, our ByteCopy could backup DVD/BD preserve all the audio tracks and subtitles. If you are interested in it, you could download and have a try.
Hope this can help you
