Mitsubishi Chemicals or Taiyo Yuden media?

hi

i got some Verbatim CD-R and there is two type :

1- Verbatim DataLifePlus Super AZO/green 48x Inkjet Printable green :

made by Mitsubishi Chemicals

2- Verbatim CD-R 32x (colors) / green :

made by Taiyo Yuden

so which one have the best quality ???

why the Super AZO is not dark blue like the old Metal AZO??

I would say the Taiyo Yuden - I’ve had better experiences with TY than Mitsubishi. But both are good.

I agree with scottmso: Both are excellent media :smiley:
As the quality of the Verbatim DataLifePLUS can vary from production site to production site (these discs are manufactured in many different countries) I would prefer Yayo Yuden, if I had the choice.

But…I use both media and I’m happy with both :smiley:

The MetalAZO and SuperAZO discs use different dye formulas and reflection layers. Therefore the colour is different.
