Hi Tester_1, thanks for the reply
I’m happy to hear this, I had thought bought a bad spindle in 2012.
I have more questions  the test is best to do it at DVD speed burn or indifferent ? For specification, it’s referred to total or the max value ? Max, right ?
I tried more DVD and burned the second at 16x, it’s have yellow vertical lines in the graphic, why ?
My next object is to buy 5 M-DISC in jewel case, I think it’s better than spindle, the disc are separated one of other, I think bad ?
Thanks for your patience and sorry me for all these questions and for my bad English :frowning:

If you compare with my results of actual MCC-media you can see your 2012-media is much better.
The forum-standard-speed for scan is 8x, so I recommend to use 8x to have a better compare with other scans.
And yes, the specs is about max. PIE/PIF. It´s for sure not nice to have a high amount of PIE/PIF total, but the error-correction should not have problems with it if the max-value is low.
The vertical graph shows the read speed of the scan
M-Disc DVD or BD? In general, Jewel-Case is better than cakebox, but if you buy many media Jewel-Case is to expensive.
The upper scan looks like a media-problem about 2GB-mark, but should be readable in every drive
The lower scan looks very nice

My english is also not the best, no prob

Thanks Tester_1, I understand all
OK, next discs scans I make it at 8x. I think this media is better burn at 8x, for security probably I burn again the second media a this speed.
I want to buy BD M-disc, I know the people think it is equal BD HTL but I want to try, if exist this discs one motive there is or not ?

M-Disc should have good longevity, but I hope there also still drives for it exist in the next decades

Never tried one

I think new drivers will still fully retro compatible as now, BD burners/players read and write CD and DVD. The only problem it’s my body in the next decades, I don’t have money for hibernation and I’m not Spiderman for prevent an accident
Tomorrow Amazon send me 5 Verbatim BD M-disc, what you think about more layer ? I bought single layer (25 GB) because I think: more layer more mistake in the future.
This are new scan at 8% and are WOW, if you think this spindle staid in a bookcase for six year (if I remember right) and one DVD on other for 50 DVD !
Possible ? Or the crossflash firmware do a false scan ?

Never burned a BD-DL, but DVD+R DL were more problematic than DVD SL.

Crossflash should not change anything at scanning. This result is possible with a good charge of older Verbatim-media
