There is one MCC 004 scan in this topic

Some of your scans show higher PIE at the end, this is maybe caused by a weak scan-drive

#527

That is a “feature” of those MBIL made printable DVD-Rs.

#528

My newer ones of these media have much higher PIF total, your older media is better

I’m newbie and no idea if this scan are bad, good or excellent.
Anyone can explain me how read this quality scan ? For example, why PIE is high at starts ?
I read some topic but not understand anything, sorry :frowning:

#542

It´s a good result, much better than my last results with this media, so don´t be worry

The higher PIE-rate at beginning is still very and shouldn´t make any problems. PIF with max 3 is also nice.

Specifications:

PIE should not exceed 280
PIF should not exceed 4 (with this kind of drive, Benq/NEC should have max 32)

My experience is, even with much higher PIE and PIF the most drives hould not have any problems
