Misflash GCC-4243N

i misflash this dvdrw for my laptop HP G5000 with some rpc1 flash and here is a problem:
writer can read every disk, but not under windows OS, just in DOS mode.
In windows when system go on, there is no DVD, but when i disconnect and reconnect device fisicaly he start to work, system recognize device for a few seconds, and finaly after about 5 seconds, he disapear from list of devices.
Problem is that i dont have enough time to reflash in windows firmware, so i need some bin version of file to reflash fw in dos mode.
Any version of fw will be usefull. If someone here have this flash, can i please him to extract bin from device with mtkflash?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for my “tarzan english”

This is no DVDRW!
GCC is combo.

Try it: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?lc=en&lang=en&cc=se&os=228&product=434624&dlc=en&sw_lang=36&softwareitem=ob-31831-1

(Ran out of “Edit time”…)

What you may try:

The latest firmware downloaded from the site mentioned above is an .exe file. I think it can be extracted. You will have two files: Winflash.EXE and s5hp108.DLD.

  1. Try DOS Flashup utility with s5hp108.DLD with the necessary parameters (flashup s5hp108.DLD 2 /c /p /o).
