by any chance is burner model/firmware info stored anywhere on a burned disc no matter how inaccessible?
while burning at a slow speed (2-2.4x) with dma enabled is there likely to be any negative impact from frequently accessing another optical drive on the same ide channel as the burner or even burning 2 discs simultaneously at the slow speed?
what is the impact of buffer underrun protection on the quality of a disc versus an uninterrupted burn? if i were to deliberately create a temporary buffer underrun situation say 40 times during a burn then write the exact same image on the same media without a buffer interruption, would the 2 discs be very comparable in burn quality or differ significantly?
