So … 5years left in product cycle means … 2yrs until the Xbox720 comes out … and then 3 years phased out, and they turn off all multi-player servers for Xbox360 games?

Or does microsoft expect to have difficulties sourcing parts slow enough to be used for the Xbo360 within 5years?

I agree. The lifecycle probably refers to the 360’s actual demise and cease of prodution. Sony still makes ps2’s, so the ps2 lifecycle is still active (even though the ps3 came out years ago).
