Microsoft is unsure how to handle a very unique issue after a Chinese software company released an Ubuntu-based Linux operating system that very closely mimcs the Microsoft Windows XP OS.

I guess I’d have to take Ylmf OS for a test drive before forming an opinion on whether or not it infringes on Microsoft’s intellectual property related to XP. It’s also a question of what specifically is protected under Chinese IP law? It’s running Linux underneath, so it obviously doesn’t use any of Microsoft’s source code, but does looking similar to another GUI warrant legal action? I guess it depends how similar it is.
