Can’t imagine them releasing a new OS so soon; probably a feature pack or service pack.

I think you’re right, microsoft hasn’t released Windows 8 officialy yet and a new os coming out so soon is almost impossible
it takes years for new os’s from Microsoft. It is probably an add on to make it “cooler” than the others.
Hope they bring some new features this time around!
I agree, it’s most likely a Service Pack update.
If you’ll recall, Win7 talks were discussed in press releases the weeks before Vista was released.
This “blue” discussion is a couple of months before commercial Win8 releases, so it’s a bit odd but, seriously, no one truly expects any one OS to become the End All Be All, do they? There’s always The Next One.
Win7 was pleasant because, in the month before it’s delivery, and even for another couple, there was a discussion of Wait For SP1 because this is how Windows Wisdom had been earned. But after a couple of months, there were many forum-writings that said, “I tried Win7 and liked it, and I’m moving into it before SP1…”
THAT was a new wrinkle, I thought.
Wisdom still leans towards wait and see, though. There are always a few oddities in the commercially released package - drivers that don’t work (“Hello - HP Printer Land? You didn’t get the last note about Win2000 or WinXP changes?”)…
I think that service pack updates which do include new functionality and apps to windows releases
So the will now bring the aeroglas back to windows 8 desktop included with the startbutton! why wait so long microsoft?
Just windows 8.1 at the moment . They just add new features like Windows XP service pack 2 almost
