Hmmm…
Interesting…

The X-Box has had a place on TVs for a while. Until the release of the Ceton Echo later this month it is the only Windows Media Center extender currently in production. The addition of a tuner and CableCard is just evolutionary, not revolutionary.

Hey, Microsoft… how about coming up with something the rest of the world HASN’T already come up with years ago? Perhaps if you can find the legal ramifications, you could include DVD/BRD ripping natively? Or, the ability to share hardware resource, such as CPU, GPU and RAM? Seriously, thinking out of hte box can’t be that hard. It took me all of ten seconds to think of those two things, so with a room full of brainstomers, spending as much time as needed to come up with new, viable technology, it shouldn’t be too hard for you to start trends instead of following them a few years too late.

I just want MKV support on my xbox. I think a better idea for MS is to leverage the millions of xboxes already out there. I’m sure they can do what this stripped down thing can, performance wise. Sounds like they expect non gamers to buy some Xbox type of product and I can’t see that happening.

console gaming is for kids. Computer gaming is where the real gaming goes on. So I dont think the Xbox TV is on my list. LOL
