Microsoft started out so good with releasing a free AV. At first I’ve used it and saw good reviews about it; it was in the top 5 or so for AV. Then 3 months later you see reports that it’s “not that good, but sufficient”. And now you see reports that it scores LAST on a trojan which steals users’ banking information.

It just shows that MS doesn’t care about giving away stuff for free. They care about the benjamins, nothing more nothing less.

I wonder why COMODO Internet Security is not among the products tested. It’s freeware just like MSSE.

I would trust this companies test as much as rubbing salt into open wounds. Notice if you go to their site and lookup their company you get very little to any useful info about them not even a physical address and their services are so General that begs the questions who are they? I might believe it more if it was a NGO that had a name to backup itself but one company and that is the standard is dubious at best in making any good decisions. And kapsersky is based in Russia and with all the Balkin problems would you trust that too as well??? So I take all these so called test like salt in wound since little to no information about the companies themselves should make one question where and how are they getting their test results from???
