“…is an upgrade of the Windows XP Media Center operating system that should make a PC a full home entertaiment set” Who wants to wait for 50-60 sec. for the TV to be turned on…? :r

That’s why you get XBMC and set it as your dashboard.

Who wants to wait for 50-60 sec. for the TV to be turned on LOL…:B

I have a Media Center PC (MCE 2004) that I use for all my TV viewing now and it works great. I don’t like having to wait 60 seconds for the TV to turn on either – which is why I never turn the PC off. I probably haven’t even rebooted it in 2-3 months.

ROFL!!! Now if XBMC could only do TV capture… :X

“Media Center Edition 2005 will offer limited support for high-definition television, but only the type of high-definition signal received through an antenna - not high-definition satellite or cable.” In that case Microsoft can shuff that release up their kazoo!
