Microsoft releases Windows 7 SP1 Beta.

No need to be in any hurry to DL and install it as it really has nothing new in it
to make it worth while from what I’ve read. :disagree: Most of the experts just say to
wait until the official release of it before installing it, that is what I’m going to do. :iagree:

Or like me I downloaded the updates offline so I can install and create a backup image of the O/S with all the updates…that is how I do it there more to it but this is the gist of how I go about keeping up to date…

Windows OS’s aren’t ever “officially supported” on our network until after the release of the first official SP. Wonder how much time this will add to us supporting Windows 7?

Pretty lame that you need to uninstall the beta before installing the final release SP.

Author also forgot to mention, in bottom right hand corner of the screen it says, Windows 7 Evaluation Copy Build 7601. Although it shows windows is fully activated on system screen in control panel.
