Windows 10 Home users are no longer forced to update apps from the Windows Store. Microsoft has released an update last week that makes it possible to enable or disable automatic updates of apps.

Now if only they would do the same for all updates…

This free upgrade to Windows 10 seems to have a hefty price tag attached - surrendering ultimate sovereignty of your computer to Microsoft in perpetuity! :eek:

Now all that lacks is for them to add an update that allows to hide/disable Windows Updates themselves, and not just for a month or so like is possible with Pro but indefinitely and not through a specific update unpublished through WindowsUpdate but has to be downloaded from the M$ site like is possible already. Who in their right mind will download that, and run it (it doesn’t get installed) if you want to hide updates
