If it would be possible to use a Kinect as a highly advanced web camera with tons and tons of features, i’m pretty sure that security businesses everywhere will pop up. Next will the Chinese that will make a decent copy of the hardware and by then everything will be too late for Microsoft.
I love the way MS, in their most recent commercial almost seems to imply that they invented the “cloud”. The people in the commercial say “to the cloud”, then they flash the Windows logo.
