Microsoft has revealed a new technology for rolling out updates that should make reduce the size of Windows updates. The Unified Update Platform (UUP) should make differential updates for all devices possible, for both mobile as computers.

I beg to differ - this is for the better! Consider people on a metered connection and a cap with the current cummulative scheme… They will have to download the whole shit over and over for each update.

This scheme went into action in October and the sooner it is gone, the better. We are already neck deep in this shit, anyone on anything newer than Vista and that includes coolcolors and so we will have to find other ways to protect ourselves unless we want to consider another OS outside of the U.S. N.S.A. Windows sphere (No, I love the U.S. and its citizens, just not the politics which I share with many of them and most of them in turn share my concern).
