Microsoft forbids computer manufacturers to sell PCs with Windows 7 after the 1st of November 2016. The company has released a new “Windows Lifecycle Fact Sheet” that states the 31st of October 2016 as the last date on which PC manufacturers are allowed to build systems with Windows 7 pre-installed.

Really is that all the best they can do? This more or less means people will still look for Windows 7 and Windows 10 after being released can’t budge Windows 7 tells you how poorly Windows 10 is going.

Then OEMs sell Linux as replacement - probably a historic turning point!

@Millennium12: I think that’s what Linux(GNU) fanatics have been saying after essentially every Windows release. I’d like to see it happen, but I won’t get my hopes up.
