I just bought a Gateway netbook with Windows 7 Starter. Six (6) cell battery with 8 hours of juice. So far so good. It seems to be reporting accurately. First time using Win7. Looks nice. Starter sucks balls though. I hate crippled hard/software.

I’m running Windows 7 home on a new laptop and haven’t seen any battery issues either. Hopefully it stays that way…
