Microsoft readies interactive ‘NUAds’ for Xbox Kinect.

A trademark application originally made by the company on June 6th and upgraded on June 9th for the term "NUADS" describes the possibility of advertisements which can be interacted with via motion controls and voice.

The hardware and software giant demonstrated NUads technology in action this week at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, promising advertisers the system would be ready to go early 2012.

If I’ve paid for the software it had better not include ANY advertising or polls.

This (interacting with ads) actually sounds decently interesting to play with, at least for the first time. After that, the novelty would probably wear off and I would be back to hating the ads like all other ads/commercials.
