I’m going to break it down.
First you need to get hold of an MGI disc or a download.
I assume you have one of those.
Simply find and right click the the MGI setup file, check the run in compatibility mode as Windows XP SP2 and install.

For the person above I think #3 made the difference. This check box is at the bottom of the "Compatibility " tab.

I will try these tomorrow, But I do want to get a hard wired KB so that I can get into safe mode. That was one of the trix that also seemed to work.
