Memorex DVD+R 4.7 GB 16x - ink jet printable surface - storage media

Hi I was wondering if anyone has used Memorex DVD+R 4.7 GB 16x - ink jet printable surface - storage media. I just purchased the HP Photosmart D5160 but haven’t purchased any disc yet. I can get 100 of these kind for $37.

Any input on some good 16x dvd+r wound be appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

I’ve not used them, but if I recall they’re usually either CMC M01 or MCC004. MCC004 is excellent, CMC M01 can be from good to poor, they can vary a lot unfortunately. I don’t know if CMC M01 in these printable discs have better consistency or not, haven’t read enough from others that have used these specific discs to know. Verbatim is always a very good option, and buying Taiyo Yuden printable discs online is also another good option.

Get THESE instead. Easily the best value for printable media on the planet.

If you must have +R, then get THESE.

Those are 8x though, he said he wanted 16x.

I don’t know exactly that the original poster wants to know, good quality 16x discs or good quality printable surfaces?

I’d recommend verbatim 16x media either way. It’s printable surface seems fine to me, and I can get it way cheaper than I can get TY media.
